August 24 @ 8:00 am - August 28 @ 5:00 pm
Welcome to the fourth edition of the Tip 2 Tip Nova Scotia!
The Tip 2 Tip is a 1000km (or slightly more), single-stage, self-supported, endurance ride from one end of Nova Scotia to the other. The ride is done solo or in pairs, and riders have 5-days to complete the route.
What is self-supported?
- No support car, water drops, or outside support of any kind – it’s all up to you to get to the finish!
- In other words, riders must be fully self-sufficient and not receive any private assistance. All food, lodging, etc. must be commercially available to all riders.
There is no set route, however, there are seven unmanned checkpoints each rider must pass on their way to Meat Cove. Riders will receive the checkpoints on August 23, 24-hours in advance of the start. They can plan their routes accordingly. Riders leave from The Hawk Beach, Cape Sable Island at 08:00 August 24.
The rider manual will outline all the nitty-gritty stuff you should know about the event.
