HopOn Coach
HopOn Coach certification is for coaches who will primarily work with Grass roots development and new riders. This certification is not part of the NCCP pathway but is a driver of new coaches to begin in the stream of coaching. The HopOn coaching certification is the usual first step in a person’s coaching journey and the Community Coach Certification can be taken in tandem with it.
The HopOn coach will mainly work with new riders who are developing skills, whether that be in clubs, schools or community groups.
Community Coach
Community Coach certification is for coaches who will primarily work with Grass roots development and new riders. This is the NCCP addition to the HopOn training which gives the coach a more in depth knoweldge of coaching, and sets them up to develop along the coaching pathway. Community Coaches will work within their communities, which can include club structures, schools or small groups of new riders.
