Event and Race Insurance
Looking to put on an event or race? Cycling Nova Scotia has your event requirements covered. It is the mission of Cycling NS to ensure that events and races can be held with support and reasonably priced insurance which takes out the worry for the organizer.

The amount charged to be sanctioned with Cycling NS (insurance, registration, support, etc) depends on the number of people who attend the event. Below are the charges which will apply:
Note: All event participants must be CNS members or pay a One Event Membership (OEM) of $15 to ensure insurance coverage.

- Event with under 25 participants ($100.00)
- Event with 26-50 participants ($200.00)
- Event with 51-75 participants ($300.00)
- Event with 76 or more participants ($500.00)
Events with no more than 25 participants
Application Fee (includes insurance, registration and collection of funds): $100
If you want to include timing, a $5/participant fee will apply. Timing system will only be available if not already booked.
If you are running a race and require a Head Commissaire: $150 plus travel
Events with 26-50 participants
Application Fee (includes insurance, registration and collection of funds): $200
If you want to include timing, a $5/participant fee will apply. Timing system will only be available if not already booked.
If you are running a race and require a Head Commissaire: $150 plus travel
Events with 51-75 participants
Application Fee (includes insurance, registration and collection of funds): $300
If you want to include timing, a $5/participant fee will apply. Timing system will only be available if not already booked.
If you are running a race and require a Head Commissaire: $150 plus travel
Events with over 76 participants
Application Fee (includes insurance, registration and collection of funds): $500
If you want to include timing, a $5/participant fee will apply. Timing system will only be available if not already booked.
