In December, Cycling Nova Scotia partnered with Autism Nova Scotia to start building 70 E-Bikes that are destined for communities across Nova Scotia. The bikes were generously donated by Carson Exports in Dartmouth and the Cycling NS team was excited to build 15 bikes (with more hopefully built in January) in the car garage on a warm December afternoon.

These bikes are going to be donated to Nova Scotian’s with autism in communities across the province. This will be determined through application (which we will post when it is available) and be focused on rural communities where transportation can be challenging.

This initiative is a great boost to the cycling community and will help get more Nova Scotians on bike and able to access Active Transportation.

Thanks again, Autism NS for reaching out!
