The Bicycle Nova Scotia Board of Directors Needs You!

Over the past several years, Bicycle Nova Scotia has been growing our reach and programs, building our capacity to advocate for cycling infrastructure, and increase participation and performance in our competitive sector. We are working hard to make cycling more accessible – and better for all Nova Scotians, as well as visitors to this province. At our 2017 Annual General Meeting, to be held in Wolfville on February 26th, we will be holding our annual elections for our board. We have several positions that are up for re-election making an open for new people to step in.  Our board terms are for 2 years. We have a few board positions that are currently open and need filling. We also have a few where current board members are not re-offering.

If you are interested in being a part of our board, please send a paragraph introducing yourself, why you are excited to join BNS and the specific board position in which you are interested to [email protected]. BNS has monthly board meetings, we are working to ensure that people can join by webex, so we encourage applications from outside Halifax.
