Record Attempt!

Ashleigh Myles is an endurance cyclist and race organizer based in Halifax, NS. In August, she’ll be setting off to ride 23,000km from Alaska to Argentina, along the Pan-American Highway. Her goal is to set the world record for the fastest female cycle of the Pan-American Highway, solo and self-supported - one of the longest point-to-point routes in the world.  She’ll be documenting the ride through her social media, and will have a live tracking map for anyone to follow along. Blue Route Recap of 2024!

2024 Blue Route Recap Cycling Nova Scotia in partnership with the Nova Scotia Department of Public Works had an exciting year in 2024, opening two new section of the Blue Route. Lunenburg to Upper LaHave:  CNS, Nova Scotia Department of Public Works, and the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg announced the opening of a new 33km section of the Blue Route in August 2024.  It is made up of 17.5km of paved shoulders along Trunk 3 and Route 332, as well as shared road on Route 332.
