Engaging Communities through Feedback Surveys Exciting strides have been made in developing visual guides for community feedback surveys in West Hants (Windsor) and Wagmatcook. These surveys play a crucial role in understanding the needs and preferences of residents, aiding us in tailoring our projects to align with the community's expectations. New Blue Route Open- Pugwash to Wallace!

  Cycling Nova Scotia, together with The Provincial Department of Public Works and the Municipality of Cumberland, are excited to announce the opening of a new section of the Blue Route from Pugwash to Wallace along Gulf Shore and Ferry Roads!  The Blue Route is a province-wide project to create a continuous 3,000km network of cycling infrastructure. 2023/2024 Core AT Networks Project Partner Applications Open Now!

Become a Core AT (Active Transportation) Networks Project Partner!  Applications are open for 2023/2024 projects! Improvement plans for walking, rolling, and cycling infrastructure can begin as early as this fall! Core AT Network Project plans come at no cost to communities. Blue Route is funded by the Provincial and Federal Governments.  The Core AT Networks Project aims to help Nova Scotia towns, municipalities, and Mi’kmaq communities build AT networks that reduce traffic stress and risk for riders of all ages and people with disabilities by preparing active transportation network plans designed for near-term implementation.
